This Great League core takes advantage of the two bulkiest "walls" in the league: Defense Deoxys and Bastiodon. Both these pokemon can be hard-countered, so there are no safe swaps with this team. This core works best by pairing it with an oppressive (or "broken") lead that has a good chance of winning with both shields.
Medicham can be used to replace Bastiodon.
Teams
- Shadow Victreebel (Wallower)
- Shadow Victreebel - Shadow Hypno (Wallower)
- Shadow Nidoqueen (Dixon the Vociferous)
Shadow Nidoqueen notes
This latest version by Dixon abuses Shadow Nidoqueen after the Poison Fang update in Season 8. The general idea is to stay in with Nidoqueen to try to win lead, spending 2 shields if necessary.
Swampert lead:
- "Double shield and Poison Fang the hell out of Swampert lol"
- if you lose lead, come in and farm with Deoxys
- expect Sableye/Skarmory in the back
Skarmory lead:
- Swap to Deoxys and hope to kill Swampert
